I have these Fall Mixed Wire Foliage Branches by JTT Scenery Products (from Scenery Express) in my stash of landscaping materials. These are meant to be standalone trees in smaller scales, so they should work well with Hampton House.

I might make two bases...one with a whole forest to display on my real life shelf and one with a tree or two to display inside a 1:12 scale house.
