African Folklore Embroidery 2012

Found this kit in a quilt shop while out with quilting buddies. The basic design was printed on the fabric. The thread colors were of my choosing. I made the quilted border. It was stitched without the use of an embroidery frame, a quick and fun project.The wooden bar is a piece of picture framing.
