Here is a better view of the entry and wood floor right near the hall closet. The warm glow from the floor is a nice contrast to the darker red chestnut on the staircase and soon to be wainscot/baseboard trim. I finally remembered to put a quarter in a couple of my photos because some of my friends couldn't envision the size!
