I love an old carpenter Gothic farmhouse, the more decrepit the better. I think the Orchid kit is perfect for it. This is my first dollhouse, and I think I'll be working on it for a long time.

There is an old abandoned gothic style house somewhere near Harrisonburg, VA on Rt 81 north....and every time we've passed it I have wanted hubby to stop and let me take pics as dollhouse inspiration (he never did)! Your house looks very much like that one. Looking forward to watching your progress.

Ive had that experience many times! I keep saying Im going to do a road trip specifically to photograph the houses that fascinate me as we whiz by - theyre always old! Id love to see pictures of the one youve seen if you ever get to take any.
