jrchob 743 Posted March 10, 2013 Thank you all! Putting the faucets in the wall is still an option as I have not glued them in. Thanks for the suggestion. I know you are correct! I wasn't sure how well they would hold with the thicker wall covering. The tubs(which are metal) came with predrilled holes. Hopefully once the room is done, it will be more of the "look" than accuracy, although I think I have enough scraps of wall paper and wood to try to see if I can do it without damaging the paper. jrchob 743 Posted March 18, 2013 Thanks Jo. Just have to figure out the drain pipe(s) yet. Quote Link to comment
Selkie 4,484 Posted April 26, 2013 absolutely nice and i like the colour too...if i may add a suggestion, usually, faucets are placed on the wall, above the tubs Often there is a backsplash type of section above those old tub sinks and that is where the faucets hang. Perhaps you could fashion something like that so the wall covering wouldn't be an issue. Drains can be made out of painted bendy straws. There are many diameters available. Love it - btw Quote Link to comment
