Cottage attic room

As I may have mentioned previously - access to this room was not the best, so I closed off the back end and made a side opening on the roof. I like this much better.

Because of the thickness of the wood the builder used, I had to add some additional sill trim in the little window. It looks pretty good - if you ignore the gaps in the trim corners! LOL

Hmm...it's not letting me view the image, but from the thumbnail it looks like a fun little room. Great idea making a side opening.
