Wall paper

This is a scrap book paper, that was brown and white, I love the pattern but never used it due to the colors, I did an experiment with paint and it actully turned out like I had hoped!

The Brand is Folk Art, the color is Metalic Amethyst. I was really surprised the paper took the paint so well, I thinned it a little with water and used a 2 inch brush, using a very thin layer of paint, the only problem I encounter was brush strokes showing up, even though it was a new brush!, so metalic paint is prob not neccessary. But was trying to get a certain color combo and a rich silk wall paper look.

It does look like silk and works great with your decorating theme.
