I like the bookcase at the end of the fireplace wall. Is that part of the kit or did you put it in? It looks good.

It's part of the kit. The kit has another bookcase, in the space under the stairs in the kitchen. I've left that spot empty - because I had to widen the space to fit the Houseworks staircase, if I use that as designed to be a bookcase/pantry, I'll need to custom-fit shelves.

I had a burst of inspiration last night, and decided to open up much of that space to the kitchen. I'll use the furthest under-stairs spot as a bookcase, and the rest will \be open to the kitchen.
