Is the mini one wood?

If so, did you carve it or use a scroll saw or what? I love it.

Yes the tiny replica is made from a piece of wood veneer I found on the ground while walking to my car in

the Walmart parking lot many years ago.  I picked it up thinking that one day I'm going to need this...lol....I have no idea what kind of wood it is, I used a jewelers saw and a sharp x-acto knife.  I had enough wood to make two of them.  Sometimes I look at that little shelf and

can't believe I made it.
