"before" dining room table and chairs

Ive been thinking about what to do for the kitchen and dining area for a long time....there is so little room to work with and although the area under the first floor landing is supposed to b designated for a dining room, I could never quite wrap my mind around putting a dining table there. I got used to the idea, as long as the table was small, casual looking and round. I finally found my table, its metal and very heavy and has cherubs and vines all around the base and it fits what I was looking for as far as casual because its a garden table with glass top. The chairs are mix matched on purpose to also fit the casual informal look I want to end up with. Only two of them match. Im in the process of white washing :-)
