Remeasured the finished pages to figure out just how big does the book cover need to be. Just to be on the safe side, I took the measurement of the finished page and added an extra 1/16 to 1/8th of an inch.

Went back to Illustrator and used the measurements to create a bunch of rectangles that created the book cover -- the spine, which is then flanked by a rectangle where the cover design will go, and another rectangle that will act as the jacket's inner flaps.
