Floors are completely glued down! what a headache! I think next time I will just splurge and buy the flooring sheets. Each "floor board" liked to curl everytime I tried to glue it down. It made getting the floor nice and even really hard.

You need to place some kinda weight on the boards while the glue sets. Also have the problem with shingles. BTW, you can buy iron on 3/4" veneer and eliminate the problem altogether. I have used red oak with good results. They can be found at most big box stores. If you want to see some in use look at FH-505 Farmhouse gallery or forum lighthouse post. Looking good so far thought!

I will have to look into the veneers next time! thanks for the idea! The only reason I did it this way was I was trying to save money by using left over siding strips, like I said.... next time I'm not going to worry about "saving" money; I'm going to worry about saving time.
