Option 1

Option 1 will have a symetrical exterior wall, with windows of equal size on each side. The room will be 14" across and 16" deep. This is what happens when I design a house from a sketch with windows placed before the floorplan was finalized.

Kathie, I was thinking exactly the same thing, you wouldn't see that in a full sized house. From the point of view of the room itself, I would prefer to see one central window which the buyer could make a feature of with beautiful drapery but I understand the problem that creates with the exterior view of the building.

From the interior, the windows will have a narrow, vertical edge that integrates into the wall, giving the appearance that its a single window. The exterior of the window casement will look almost identical to the dining room window, appearing to be 2 or 3 windows in a single casement.
