It's growing......

those three empty spaces in the foundation seem like such a waste of space... it is a shame....

I am thinking of leaving the one on the far right in the photo open and paperclay it to look like stone and use it as a cellar.... it's not good for much more... they seem a little silly.... and add about 5 inches to the height of this house.... sigh

You could always just take a saw and cut them all down a couple inches... I am working on a Newberg now that has that same crazy high foundation.

I thought about doing that.... but I really like the stairs that go up to the front porch.... I don't know???? I have time yet to decide I guess.... I also thought about making drawers out of the spaces... it would be a neat place to store things like Christmas decorations and such

The Heritage has it, too, though at just over 2" high. I think it's all just to have front steps.

ahhh but Brae... what you did with the basement windows is marvelous so it doesn't seem like unused space
