Okay, i'm not kidding when I say I hate stairs. What I thought was going to take a day or so took 4. I can only hope the first floor stairs will go in easier now that I have a few tricks up my sleeves. I think I might get some turnings for the railings now that I look at it.

Yep, stairs are a challenge. Same thing happen to me. Thought it would take one day... took about 4. But they are worth the effort. I think your stairs give your hall wonderful character.

It is so worth the effort after it's done. You would never have been satisfied. It too took me days, holding the spindles on my 1/2 scale with tweezers and trying to get set at correct angle. I'd have to wait for it to dry before attempting the next or....London Bridges falling down. It's amazing the amount of love you put into your houses! I love the turn on the stairs!
