A lot of the gingerbread and trim was broken, dry rotted or missing.In addition, how am I supposed to paint and detail this house with everything put together? I wasn't crazy about the original railing (especially since none of it had been sanded and I'm not inclined to do so either) so I ripped it out without a care in the world.
