I hadn't done the bathroom yet, that's why the light's not on. Some brands are brighter than others. I don't usually have them all on at the same time anyway, depends on time of day, and who is over....

You can definitely see the blue hue in the battery operated ones in this pic. They seem to light up the rooms very nicely even though you had mentioned them being a little dimmer than some others. Still I like them very much!!!
