I purchased a black and white bamboo for $2 at a discount store. I used it throughout the house. The spiral staircase was missing the inside railing, so I used the bamboo to create an interior wall. A bamboo rug was added to the bathroom. Bamboo curtains are used throughout the house, and even the curtain rods are made from a piece of bamboo taken from the placemats. I really got my money's worth! The grey area is the back of the living room fireplace.

The lower section is a modified kit, the Fascination Station, a gas station. I enclosed the car bays, added the carport, top floor, fireplaces, and patio. I designed the removable back wall and the roof. It was a blast to build. I'm really enjoying the modern miniature movement, especially the retro 60s-70s stuff.
