Those were Hallmark Christmas Tree ornaments for the miniature trees. I used to decorate a Ming tree every year with the little stuff - now I decorate the mini-houses and most of the Hallmarks are now in the houses. A bunch of them went into the Gift Shop in my Garden Bistro :)
