Finished Roof

wenlaine

I used One Way velcro to do my roof, cut into 1 1/4" lengths and I loved working with it and how it turned out. What made it even nicer was I was able to put a row of shingles on and they would stick to the row below so I could place them all across and then I just had to go across the tops underneath and glue them. It was almost too easy. But I think I could have gotten the same results if I had used felt and probably alot cheaper. But it's done now and I can move on to making my books and shelving units. I also have to finish putting the rest of the outside trim on.

Thanks Jenny, you should consider bark for your roofing material. I'm sure you would be able to find lots on trails and just cut the pieces to size.
