The kitchen of the dower cottage. This building is the only part of the estate that remains in family hands. Originally purchased with settlement funds obtained in the wrongful death lawsuit against Hansel and Gretel, the main house enjoyed a heyday of lavish entertaining and wild parties. After falling into disrepair in the 60's the grand house eventually had to be sold for taxes. The dower cottage, once rented as an elegant weekend escape or honeymoon bungalow still retains a few reminders of those better days.
I made the table and chair, the kitchen cabinets are, of course, a Michael's hutch bash.
