Made from a Victorian engineering instrument box and bone the table when opened contains the genuine wax seal of Lady Ann Pope
Encapsulated in a solid brass housing with a quartz viewing window the outer edge has 8 Victorian gemstones inserted to give a strong Renaissance feel, the seal itself is still attached to the original 17th Century vellum it was first placed on in the year 1629.The inside lid is covered with antique red calf leather.
