I'm turning the bay window in the kitchen into a breakfast nook. I scratch built a window seat and cabinets to fit and am quite pleased with how they turned out. I have to build a table and another chair yet, but I need to finish the rest of the cabinetry first so I know what size the table needs to be.

I've since touched up the little sliver of wall showing between the bench and the cabinets with some blue paint, so that it blends in.

I'd say it matches my hair, but my color du jour this week is nuclear red. ohyeah.gif

Seriously, I'm going with light and bright colors because I'm not electrifying this house.
