Is it too much blue? The mahogany wood doesn't match up well with the trim, does it? I could paint the trim, and I plan to introduce other colors with area rugs, pillows, and curtains. (sorry for the bad pic. Since it's such a small area, the camera lens wanted to focus on anything BUT the furniture. And I didn't feel like switching lens.)

It'd be better if it matched. ..and I just noticed that one of the bracers on the sofa came off in shipping. So I guess I will start my experiments with the sofa and go from there. It will have to wait until the weekend though. Tomorrow is the bimonthly episode of "Invasion of the Cleaning Ladies", so I have to pick up all my stuff before they get here.

Thank you, I do too! I think I'm going to add white beadboard to cut down on some of the blue in this room. That will be a whole lot easier than redoing the furniture. Then I'll paint the trim to match.
