Handmade books

Today I spent some time putting together books for the fireplace bookcases. Some were scanned from books in my personal library, but most were cover images I found online. I used bass wood in various thicknesses to create the pages, painting the edges in white, grey and yellow-browns for some variety. I tried to not be too careful in making them since I wanted them to look like a nice collection of gently worn and well-loved used books. :]
