since this house was a donation to a benefit auction, I was trying to keep costs down: using as much stuff as I had on hand as possible. This yellow tile is one instance of my scrounging! :) It is also a fine example of making an error work! I accidentally cut out the triangle piece the wrong way :blink: so to make it work, I cut the wall piece so the tiles were on the same slant as the peak wall! :thumb:

Reliving My Childhood

Can't tell you how many times I've cut paper the wrong direction and haven't had enough left to redo it. Clever though that you then turned this into an "opportunity" and gave the room an unexpected twist.

I also had to chuckle looking at those attic windows and saw what you meant about them being installed differently. They look just great, though!
