Paper Clay Chimney

I decided to paint and grout the chimney as practice before tackling the fireplace. I think I did it the hard way. I rolled out the paper clay, draped it over a piece of sandstone and pressed to make the texture, then cut and glued each piece individually. I tried rolling out the paper clay and glueing it to a surface, then scoring it, but I just couldn't get it 3 dimensional enough.
