I just found the stars in Country Home catalog. They are curtain tie backs with a tack. The one inch come in a set of 12. I only need one but who knows, I could find something in my RL house to use them for. I had cut the picture from this catalog and just now found the metal stars.

Darice Timeless Minis sells country stars...in a little baggie you get like 10 different sizes...

I know that they are sold at a store near the Sturbridge Show...I can get you a package of them, but it wouldn't be until June, when the show is... But if you want it, let me know...

Thanks but the paper ones worked out pretty well. The one on the door I backed with card stock and painted and I made two larger ones, one on each side under the gable. I made them from textured gold cardstock and just glued the points to the house. If the kitties don't decide to get them they'll be OK.
