Foyer Floor



I love this British flooring paper and have used it many times. The tile paper in the kitchen is also British... both are from Dollhouse Emporium. They still needs shellac but I won't do that until just before adding mouldings.

I ve always liked the one here with the border. I have purchased floor papers also from dolls house emporium in UK I had no idea you could shellac paper? really?

I used the word "shellac" a little broadly, I guess. In the past, I've used Ceramcoat varnish - both gloss and satin. I've never had a problem but even the gloss isn't really shiny. Very nice, mind you, but not as shiny as I want this to be (granted, I've never done more than 2 coats, either). I'm going to use a Minwax poly on a scrap piece and see if it'll really gloss up.
