Bedroom - Some Changes

It bothered me so much that the rest of the house had walnut (or close) woods and the bedroom was all mahogany. I painted the bed almond and applied some scrapbooking appliques. The linens are natural colors (I'm still contemplating a proper bedspread).

I pulled out the nightstand and replaced it with a "marble" topped wash stand with a lighter, less red finish. I also removed the end table at the foot of the bed and replaced it with a correspondence desk in a similar color to that of the washstand. The country-ish chair was moved to the sewing room and replaced with a more feminine heart-backed one. I haven't decided on a color for the cushion (seeing how nothing else in the room matches each other).

The corner shelf (which was at the end of the bed, up against the wall) was discarded.

I also was finally able to installed the faux stained glass window in the back.
