Wall added to bedroom

I don't like stairs coming into the bedroom so am adding a wall. The stair area will be large enough for a chest of drawers or a trunk, book case etc. I'll probably add a few inches to the bedroom wall. The attic stairs will be a faux pull down ladder next to the stair railings.
