The floorboards I got from and ebay.

They are stuck down with double sided tape which it works really well. If you buy these kind of floorboards don't glue them down, the glue will make them bend at either end!

Then I used clear wax wood polish and after I rubbed grey chalk pastel into the boards and black shoe polish over the top to give it an aged look.

The nail effect is done by using a soft lead pencil to make two dots either side of each panel and then sticking a bradawl into the mark.

Yes it really is easy you should try it. I'm addicted to laying flooring now haha
