JaniceG 19 Posted January 24, 2011 Thanks, Jen. My siding is cut from cereal boxes. I just used craft paint. I did a couple coats of the solid base color and then did a bit of dry brushing for the weathering. I also used a sponge to water down the dark browns and greens. Just be careful not to use too much water to get the siding wet, but enough to make the paint thin, like a color wash. Then I used a dry towel to wipe off the wetness. I just fiddled with it for a couple of days. Don't be afraid to experiment, you can always paint over it. Quote Link to comment
