It looks Scandinavian. Cute,I would save it for someday if you decide to do a house to be a gift to a child or charity. That bench would be cute in a garden..I would try padding and upholstering that chair into a big overpadded chair,I can see it with a ruffle skirt in a chintz pattern,its got good bones.
