blanket chest kit

I'm really unhappy with this kit. I don't recommend it. I am in the process of making it, so my opinion may change if I can salvage it. <BR><BR>ETA<BR>Looks like I will have to make a new drawer. The decorative drawer front arrived with a big chunk taken out of it... I thought that maybe I could patch it, but now the drawer itself has warped. Just easier to make a new drawer. <IMG style="VERTICAL-ALIGN: middle" alt=dry.gif src="http://www.greenleafdollhouses.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif" border=0 emoid="<_<"> <BR>The rest of it is fine so far. I haven't tried attaching the hinged lid yet. <BR><BR>ETA again.<BR>Salvaged the drawer. Made a new drawer front. The leftover maple from the Buttercup kit was a godsend. The chest looks pretty darn good now. Just a little finishing and she's done.
