House of Blues

ToyPianista

I really love this house. I've taken it apart and put it together several times now. It's very sturdy. Without having glued it, it can be carried around. I'm dreading the electric, however . . . this MDF seems impenetrable!

With the Madison that I built (Dura-Craft as well), I did mostly ceiling lights because that MDF stuff is terrible to penetrate. It was easier to drill a hole and run the wire through it (from the ceiling, the wire would be on the floor of the room above; covered up by the flooring) than to make the outlets. I did have a few outlets (3) and I used a mini drill to start the holes for the outlets. But, BE VERY CAREFUL not to make the starter holes too big!
