chellebelle 122 Posted March 3, 2010 I took the circle base off of a tree from the craft store. I put a blob of paperclay on the bottom to give it height. Then I put paperclay around it and scored it with clay tools to make it look like bark. Then I rolled some clay snakes and made bigger parts of the roots, making some lumpy and curved. The thinner roots are blobs of hot glue from a mini glue gun. I pulled it slowly and slightly moved it back and forth a tiny bit to make bumps and then taper it. A bit of choc. brown and umber craft paint on the clay and glue. Quote Link to comment
