Light colored wood trim on staircase

It's either this or the cherry wood trim. Thanks to Evervescent for her inspiration for the design! One note: I plan to "age" this trim so it will be darker in all the crevices...if I choose this instead of the cherry wood, that is. I welcome your comments!
