Map of bird migration. Nat'l Geo magazines (one of his faves) and a few bird books in the little bookcase. The red and green things are supposed to be tomatoes, as Donald enjoys growing them.

it's crumpled tissue paper over wet paint. The stains are done with an ammonia/steel wool mix. I used the same mix to stain the shingles.
