One could argue that it would be a shame to rip out well preserved wallpaper and carpets, because of the authenticity. On the other hand, the wallpapers are quite dark, making the rooms dark too. I believe the rooms would look better if they were light and cheerful. It's a pity that the gorgeously playful fifties interior designs never revived. The furniture, colors and prints were to die for. How I wish I could decorate the house like in the fifties. It was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this house, and this house would be perfect for it. Quote Link to comment
