Entry hall
One of the first things that motivated me to bash my Fairfield was how tiny the entry hall was in the original. Most old victorian houses had big entry halls, plus I wanted to move the stairs away from the parlour so that I could add a fancy banister. I made the front panel removable (held on with magnets) so that I could get into it if needed, but it would still be hard to work in there if I needed to fix anything. Let's hope I won't need too! The door in the back goes to the kitchen, and the one to the left goes to the den/library room.
