The gears run down to a millstone. If the gear teeth were made of something stronger than balsa wood, then yes, technically it could work. The third floor is the office and the fourth floor takes the miller up to the gear area for maintenance. Of course there is a mouse problem, but the cats and owl are taking care of it. Most everything is made from scratch with the exception of the book shelf, wallpaper and a few Playmobil pieces.
