the bathroom II

This shows the lavatory. I used a cake pedestal I found in a thrift store with a scallop shell basin; I found the shell on Navarre Beach. The spigot is a piece of sprue from the parlor stove kit and the handles are faceted 3-lobed clear beads.

The bed/sitting room is furnished in $Tree furniture from a box I found in a thrift store; the parlor sofa & table were in there, too.

The other "kit-scrap" table holds the dh.

I made the bed from a piece of styrofoam packing material I cut to fit the gable and covered with fabrics to look like an opened bed. This is one of the items I use fabrics with that I use glue, rather than sew. I did sew the pillows (which don't show).
