Well once I'd decided on a colour I proceeded with the white, then at least a couple coats of blue, then a retouch on the white. Just worked my way down the row of shutters til the end, then started at the beginning again (they'd dried by that time). Got to the end of it all, counted them and thought 'hang on, i'm sure there were supposed to be 22'....counted the windows, yup, 22. Hmmmm, where could the other two shutters be? Cause I'm sure they were there when I got the house.... Finally found one under the desk, and another under house on the desk
