kathi17 915 Posted May 14, 2008 Thanks Greg! I'm planning on putting a chandelier in the middle, and sconces in the gold things in the center of each wall section, as well as a mirror over the fireplace. I don't like the frame I used, but didn't have anything suitable, so I stuck it there anyway. I hope to get one of those Unique Miniatures fireplace top thingies instead. Quote Link to comment
rbytsdy 588 Posted May 14, 2008 Beautiful, beautiful! I am dying to know how you did all the filigree bits-- are they stickers or paint or laminate of some sort?? Quote Link to comment
Jokelly 0 Posted May 14, 2008 Just lovely. I have a box of stained glass, only in dark ambers and burgundies that I have no idea what to do with. This is inspiring me to do something with it if I ever finish any of my other projects. Quote Link to comment

I used both Dresden paper lace, and metal filigree findings for the trim. I glued on the paper lace with a gluestick, and the metal with clear silicon. The gold on the cornice is gold craft paint. I think Colleen Moore's dollhouse had real marble or something on some of the floors. The stained glass would make a similar effect. Quote Link to comment
