The music room is one of my favorite rooms, and a special place for me because I took piano lessons as a little girl and loved to go upstairs to my Oma's (maternal grandmother) all white formal living room that nobody went into (except for the holidays when we had huge dinner parties) and practice on her Howard upright--which is now proudly displayed in my grand foyer of my home . I tried to replicate the feel of her white living room with the white WOOL wall to wall carpet in the downstairs area L.R. of my dollhouse. However, at my mom and dad's house, I had a baby grand piano which was bought for me as a gift for my pursuit in music by my great aunt--Katinani for my birthday one year. I didn't have room to put a baby grand piano in the downstairs living room, so I decided to create a music room instead.
