Alisha Lars

Well, originally I was going to do a tin-look roof, and these basswood strips would have replicated the seams. Now that I've adjusted the exterior color from blue to aqua, I want to go with the copper, which usually isn't seamed the way that tin is, plus the hammered copper paint looks really cool all by itself. AND, I think without the seams, the trim will look better. But of course, I'll probably change my mind again. (I'd started out really wanting a copper roof and grey-blue house, then went to copper and pink, then aqua and tin, then the paint turned out too blue, so blue and tin, now back to aqua and copper -- whew!)
