First floor. Instead of using premade sheets of wood planks as I'd planned, I decided to experiment. I drew out planks in pencil, used a woodburning tool over the lines (not very straight, but that's just a "feature"), sanded lightly, stained with watered craft paint, and spray glossed many times for a good shine. I like them a lot, and best of all I used materials I already had on hand and diverted the flooring budget to furniture. Hooray, furniture! (pics of furniture in the earlier album in my gallery)
