Paperclaying and Staining Boards

Got most of the interior of the house paperclayed, and if you look closely at this board you can see where the boards are showing through. Did a lot of "staining" too, but instead of stain we used a mixture of dark burnt umber and black paint.

Thank you for sharing this class Linda and it's good to see you back. For me, who has neither the time or money for his class, the photos give a good idea of what it's all about. I wonder if you paperclayed the outside after the house was already standing and how one might make the beams without sophistocated cutting tools.
