Emerald 1,025 Posted August 24, 2023 Actually NO...the blocks were only for 2 1/6 scale walls. So really I don't have enough for some things I want to do. I almost used all of the breeze blocks on the carport, 24 breeze blocks to decorate the carport. Would like to raise up the bottom of the 1st floor of new house for a block basement/foundation, but did not create it that way. Seems like a lot, but 1/6 scale is 2in is 1ft, not mattel size (1/8, smaller). I want to add lots of playscale windows which look huge, siding, the blocks of course and I am building my own door. Medieval 519 Posted August 25, 2023 I didn't realize Mattel was a different scale. You have good plans. Im looking forward to watching your progress. Quote Link to comment
Emerald 1,025 Posted November 15, 2023 HI...yes. If you look even at Houseworks playscale doors, Barbie's head hits the top of the door. I did use one I bought though. For my build, the double hung windows are quite big, so I believe they work better for 1/6 scale. If you really really look into Mattel items, some work and some are too small. The houses have absolutely NO room. But I love Mattel and Barbie. Recently purchased TED LASSO the guy and blonde for $50 each. Mexican actress in gold dress for $50 And Anna May Wong (Actress) for $50. Great buys. So do I love Mattel. Sometimes Quote Link to comment
